Hooray it’s FRIDAY and three weekends away from Christmas! Today we celebrate DAY TEN in the 12 DAYS OF SLOWLY MADE guide. We wanted to focus on sustainable practices for christmas decorating and give you some inspiration on thinking outside the box this year!
DAY ELEVEN - FORAGING CHRISTMAS DECOR
It’s time to trim the backyard greens and maybe the neighbours hedge to get you in the holiday mood! Don’t forget to ask first though. If you run out of time to go collect greenery from your friends or family and decide to buy new, remember to ask questions. Greenhouses and stores will only carry what you the customer are willing to buy. Let them know you are interested in greenery sourced from FSC certified sustainable farms.
We offered a foraged christmas wreath workshop last week and it was a huge success! Thank you to all who came everyone made unique and beautiful creations!
Some found inspiration below for our Foraged Christmas Wreaths. Let us know if we should offer it again next year! Maybe a whole day workshop?
Thanks again for taking the time to read our guide to a Slowly Made Christmas,
