FACT - If everyone in Canada wrapped just three gifts in reused paper or gift bags, it would save enough paper to cover 45,000 hockey rinks!
DAY 4 - CHRISTMAS WRAPPING
This year why not wrap your presents in reusable fabrics (like the tea towel furoshiki wrapped in the image above) There are lots of ideas and tutorials on how to do this online. We have included one of our favorite zero waste companies in the link below demonstrating some great ways to use zero waste wrapping! If furoshiki isn’t your thing try and purchase 100% recycled paper for wrapping or throughout the year try to remember to save bags given to you and reuse them if you can!
We have worked really hard to source and use only recycled wrapping, shopping bags, and shipping materials here at Made Collective as well as opting out of paper receipts! Don’t get me started on BPA paper receipts! We also have a gift wrapping station full of recycled or upcycled crafting supplies for your conveniences and if Alison is at the shop be sure to get her help!
